As ProperPR gain a further foothold as the PR experts to the property industry we are increasingly asked to chair debates and panels for the industry’s major events.

Fresh from hosting panels at the Property Investor Show Russell was asked to host a debate at the National Landlord Investment Show at Billingsgate, London on 4th July.

Subjects discussed ranged from the protracted court process for evictions, government continuing to squeeze landlords legislatively and how to deal sensitively with tenants that are having difficulty paying their rents as the cost of living bites.

Then, there was a protest outside of tenant action groups and which Russell could not help but become involved in in defence of landlords and agents – ‘If you continue to ostracise landlords, what will tenants do when there is less stock as landlords exit the sector?’
