The Labour Party are proposing that the ‘non green’ bits of the green belt are reclassified so that more homes can be built.

Property public relations guru, Russell Quirk spoke to Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster on GB News this morning in defence of what at face value is a sensible approach.

The green belt makes up 3m acres of land, 12% of England. Releasing just 1% of the poorer bits would create 500,000 new homes

What this is NOT is a ‘concreting over’ of our parks and meadows.
